Many years ago, I bought some long underwear from a company here in Bradford, Yorkshire,
They were warm, but bulky and dragged against the inside of my jeans.
Having a meal with friends one night and one of the lasses, why dont you get tights ?
Everyone laughed, Tights? for a guy..... Whatever next.
Anyway, I did, What a learning curve that was ! Eventually, I got it about right.
Long in the leg, So I didnt push my feet through the toes, and care when putting them on so they didnt ladder. If you buy thick ones, they will often be too think ! Hot and sweaty, So I went for 20 or 40 denier and black. I have to admit, Tan tights will make your legs look good.
