I was looking for a privacy friendly FOSS way to handle a contact form. Just found
Formspree and the best thing is, they don't require running any servers (although it
can be self hosted if you wanted to).
Adding contact form is very easy. You
will have to
register (they have a free
plan). Registration is simple, just email and password.
After you register, you have a dashboard where you can create and manage your forms. First create a project and then a new form (
details). They have reCAPTCHA integration but thankfully it's disabled by default.
If you are worried about spams, you can
mask your emails for every form you create. So you can hopefully control the messages you receive without having to use an annoying CAPTCHA solution.
I hope to write a blog post soon about it in detail. But thanks to Formspree for creating a FOSS option for this.
